Devil Chili Powder is produced by directly grinding dried chili peppers; it contains no added starch, salt, coloring agents, anti-caking agents, or other auxiliary ingredients. It features the natural reddish-brown hue of roasted dried chilies, and the color disperses effectively when in contact with oil. The aroma is predominantly spicy, with no noticeable burnt, bitter, or off-notes. It is ideal for everyday dishes that require a spicy kick and the characteristic red-oil color.

Features

Particle Texture: Devil Chili Powder falls between a fine powder and coarse flakes; it is not a uniform dust, and chili fragments are visible after heating.
Color Characteristics:
The dry powder ranges from dark red to reddish-brown. Color stability in light-protected storage matches that of standard crushed dried chilies; sealing and storing away from light after use is recommended. When fried in oil, it yields an orange-red hue rather than a bright or fluorescent red.
Aroma: Predominantly spicy with a slight roasted note; free from off-flavors.
Solubility: Insoluble in water; dispersible in oil.
Products Advantages
Net content of 120g with a bottle opening diameter of approx. 4.5cm; convenient to pour or scoop, allowing for dosage control without the need for extra utensils.
The sugar content listed in the nutrition table (19.3g/100g) comes from the chili peppers' natural soluble sugars rather than added sugars; it does not contribute to free sugar intake concerns.
Sodium content is 28mg/100g, significantly lower than similar compound chili seasonings (which typically contain 1000-5000mg/100g of salt); it allows for adjusting spiciness in salt-controlled diets without significantly impacting total sodium intake.
Production license number and execution standards are clearly marked, ensuring traceability of production information.
Allergen information is clearly labeled, making it easy for individuals with allergies to identify potential risks.
Devil Chili Powder Applications
Making Chili Oil: Mix chili powder with cooking oil at a ratio of 1:3 to 1:5. Pour the oil (heated to approximately 160-180°C) over the powder, let it sit for at least 12 hours, then strain to collect the oil.
Direct Sprinkling: Sprinkle onto roasted or deep-fried foods after cooking; use an amount equal to 1%-3% of the food's weight.
Marinating: Mix with cooking wine, light soy sauce, ginger, and garlic; coat the meat and marinate for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
Seasoning Soups/Noodles: Add 0.5-2g per bowl to noodle soup or broth-based dishes after cooking; stir well before eating.
Custom Blending: Can be mixed with other spices-such as Sichuan peppercorns, cumin, or fennel seeds-to create custom seasoning blends.

FAQ
Q: My chili powder has clumped into little chunks. Can I still use it?
A: Usually that just means a bit of moisture got in. If you can easily crumble the clumps back into powder with your fingers and there's no mold or funky smell, you're good to go. But if the clumps are rock hard, you see white fuzzy spots, or it smells rancid, toss it - it's gone bad. If that happens and it's still within the expiry date, hit up our customer service.
Q: How big is the bottle? How much space does 120g actually take up?
A: The bottle stands about 13cm tall (that's roughly 5 inches) and is about 5.5cm (2.2 inches) across. It's only about three-quarters full when you get it - don't worry, we didn't short you. That empty space is there on purpose so the powder doesn't get crushed and compacted during shipping.
Q: What's the bottle made of? Does it seal well? Anything special for export shipping?
A: The bottle is food-grade PET plastic with a screw cap and a foil seal inside. Just peel off the foil the first time you open it, and after that, twisting the cap on tight keeps it sealed. Plastic is lighter and much less likely to break than glass, so it travels better.
Q: Will the bottle break during shipping?
A: We pack each bottle in a thick corrugated box with bubble columns or foam padding to keep it safe. That said, shipping isn't always gentle. If your bottle shows up cracked or the seal is broken, just take a photo and reach out to us - we'll sort it out.
